![]() | E.S.O. Founded in 1982 by Umberto Veronesi and Laudomia del Drago with the aim of helping in the reduction of cancer deaths due to late diagnosis or inadequate treatment. |
| | Fondazione Umberto Veronesi The Fondazione Umberto Veronesi foundation was created with the aim of encouraging scientific research. It is backed by renowned international scientists and researchers. The Foundation aims among other at spreading scientific culture at all levels, with the intention of creating a collective conscience on the problems and choices of scientific research. |
| Fondazione Laureus Italia Onlus Fondazione Laureus Italia Onlus uses sport as an educational and pedagogical tool. The Foundation operates in difficult contexts with the aim of helping boys and girls with different social problems. It is a social network created around the needs of the children. | | Fondazione Benedetta D'Intino The Fondazione Benedetta D'Intino foundation in defence of children and families, a not-for-profit organisation, was created in Milan in 1992 and was recognised by Regione Lombardia through regional law (DPRL) n. 1003 of 9/2/93. It was founded on the impulse of the Mondadori, D’Intino and Formenton families in remembrance of little Benedetta. Benedetta was the first grandchild of Cristina Mondadori, she died at 15 months of age due to a congenital heart problem. Today her legacy is found in the smiles of those children the Foundation can help in her name. The Foundation offers support to all families having children with psychological or communication problems due to a lack of verbal language.

Its Division Directors and Unit Directors come from eight different European countries. Developed from an idea of Umberto Veronesi and opened in May 1994, the Institution became an Istituto di Ricovero e Cura a Carattere Scientifico (IRCCS) (scientific hospitalisation and care institution) through a law (DM) of January 1996; it is a private not-for-profit body offering services also based on agreements with the National Health Service (SSN). |

| | Progetto Itaca The Associazione Progetto Itaca association was created on the 29th of October 1999 by a group of volunteers with the aim of initiating prevention, assistance and rehabilitation projects addressed to individuals suffering from Mental Health problems and in support of their families. |
| | ...Sottovoce... ...Sottovoce... is a volunteers association operating at the Istituto Europeo di Oncologia in Milan. It was created in 1997 on the impulse of Manuela Belingardi (Chairman) and Francesca Merzagora (Deputy Chairman) with the main aim of involving volunteers to be positioned within the various departments of the Institution in order to help patients and their families by listening and supporting them during the difficult evolution of the illness. |
